The Badminton Federation of Nigeria earlier advertised vacancies for the different national coaching positions. The shortlisted applicants have been invited for an interview that will be holding on Thursday the 22nd of March 2018. The advertised positions are that of the Senior National Coach, 2 Assistant coaches, Junior National Coach and 2 Assistants, 6 Zonal Coaches.
The following applicants were shortlisted for the interview:

The Federation has also put together a technical panel to conduct the interview. The panel is led by Professor Ken Anugweje who is a Director at the University of Port-harcourt sports institute/ and also the Director General of the IAAF / CAA High performance center Uniport. Other members of the panel include Dr Emmanuel Igbinosa- Deputy Director, Federal Ministry of Youth and sports Development Abuja, and Bamiduro Olumide- Assistant Director Federal Ministry of Youth and sports Development/ Technical Director Badminton Federation of Nigeria.
The observers are the President BFN, Vice President BFN and the Chairman BFN technical sub-committee.
The Federation believes that all capable hands should be on deck to harness & develop the teeming young players that abound in our great nation. As such, it is leaving no stone unturned towards the ultimate goal of developing the game in Nigeria.
