New Year Message

Dear esteemed members of the Nigeria Badminton Family, it is with immense gratitude to God that I on behalf of the BFN Board send this message to usher in a new year.

The year 2020 has no doubt been one of the most challenging to our world, our lives and our beloved game. The COVID 19 pandemic worldwide practically shut down all activities and rendered us all idle for most of the year.

But we must give thanks to God for sparing our lives to see the end of the year and the beginning of 2021.

Despite the challenges and inactivity, we have faced, I am so proud that our teeming members have remained focused, determined and in shape. This is truly encouraging.

As we bid farewell to the year 2020 and usher in the new year, 2021, I want to assure you of the resolve of this board of the Badminton Federation of Nigeria to lift the standard of our players, technical officials and coaches. We hope for a year without such challenges as 2020 so we can continue to roll out our developmental programmes for the growth and upliftment of the game.

We hope to commence an active calendar as soon as soon as it is relatively safe to do so.

We wish you a much more peaceful and productive year with all the blessings, peace, harmony and prosperity that it will bring.
